Any eligible officer, in accordance with the By Laws of CSI can be the member of Institute. Officers of Secretary
Level and higher authorities to the Government of Uttar Pradesh and officers' equivalent to these posts and
ex-officio members of the Governing Council and Executive Committee may get the membership at Institute.
Membership may be opened to the serving officers of All India Services deployed in U.P. Cadre Provincial Civil
Services Officers, and Officers at State Secretariat not below the rank of Special Secretary and Group 'A' or
equivalent working under the State Government.
Membership may also be offered to Executives of State Public Sector Undertakings (or of equivalent rank) subject
to the approval of the Executive Committee.
Associate Membership will be given to the Officers of Central Government Services or of equivalent status posted
in Lucknow for a period of one year or extendable on yearly basis up to maximum period of serving in Lucknow.
Those interested can become Lifetime Member of Civil Services Institute.
PCS Executives,
IAS, IFS, and IPS officers can become lifetime members of the Institute. Membership will remain valid throughout
their lifetime, even after retirement.
To become Associate Member of the Institute, interested officers need to pay a fee of Rs.50,000
for the first time and Rs.25,000/- from second year. This fee will be applicable for one year only. IRS, High
Court Judges, IAS/IPS which are not from U.P. cadre can get the Associate Membership of the Institute.
